Need Straighter Photos?

Are you having a bit of trouble with that great looking landscape photo of yours being a tad askew?

Do you have Photoshop?

Well, here is a very simple way to straighten your photo without the degradation of using Free Transform and rotate.

For practice, open a photo that you have containing a horizon within Photoshop. A photo of an ocean works best. Also, make sure this photo is slanted.

In your tools panel find the eyedropper tool. Do a right-click hold revealing all other hidden tools. Click on the ruler tool. You can also do SHIFT I and cycle through until you get the ruler.

Draw a line along the askew horizon of the photo using the ruler tool.

Click on Image – Imagine Rotation – Arbitrary… A dialogue box will pop up. Don't change any of the setting and click OK.

Your photo should be straight. Just crop it down so take out the canvas.

Thanks for reading.

Vacation Photos - Third Batch (a very small batch at that)

There is no such thing as Standardization in Mexico.

Everywhere there happens to be things in a state of disrepair.

I found the graffiti to be very interesting.

I just enjoy taking photos of barbed wire. In this case it is to protect something that is already damaged.

Thanks for visiting.

One more.

This is an old photo, and one I made when I first bought the camera I use now.

Enjoy, and do comment, please.

Thank you.

Some Random Photos
